Try the Arcam receivers for music. They really can't be beat! AVR 280 and the AVR350 Arcam is a company that no matter what the product they produce, they consistantly make stereo sound a top priority. Even with there DVD players all the reviews basically say the same thing. The stereo playback is top notch! If you want any more information on them google it for reviews.
