A dinosaur isn't extinct until they are all gone, so until my player (XA2) dies, I'll keep them, and it is a great upscaling DVD player, so I won't be sending them to you any time soon!
I would argue that no one should be buying standard DVD players now. If you need a disc spinner, make it Blu-ray and be ready for tomorrow!
