Word is the 3808CI & 4308CI receivers will be getting a firmware upgrade (not to be confused with a firmware update) later this year that will add Audessy dynamic audio to the receivers.
There will be a charge for this upgrade (rumor is $100) & may need to be installed buy a Custom Install dealer.
I have my dealer checking on all the info at CEDIA next month & I'll let you all know what I hear.
