I think it is really tough right now as we truly don't know what the standard will be.

IF Blu-ray and HD DVD came out and said ALL audio will be sent via bitstream to the receiver/pre/pro or analog only, then it would be easier.

As it is, I have players and processors that each vary in what they output and receive, making this very difficult even for a true early adopter like me!
