Anyone remember DIVX (Digital video Express)?
You bought a movie on a DVD & it played on a special DVD/DIVX player that is connected to a phone line & you got to watch it once, if you wanted to watch it again you had to pay for a code to unlock it.
Well don't feel bad if you don't remember, it only lasted about 7 months.
I told the guy at Ultimate Electronics he was out of his mind if he thought I would buy one of those!
The only place I can see these destructible DVD's catching on is at airports so you can have a movie to watch on a long flight for cheap.
Just wait until the environmentalist hear about this, throwing away a DVD after it's watching period isn't very "green"!
