I would assume what Wes meant, is that Blu-Ray is still only a very small percentage of overall movie rentals and sales.
It is unfortunate to see, but the fault really lies with the Blu-Ray association for not being more aggressive in keeping costs down so that they can compete with DVD. They may have beaten HD DVD, but the biggest battle by far is to unseat standard DVD and for the non-videophile, paying $10-$15 more per movie (which in turn raises rental fees) is not going to get the job done.
It will be interesting to see if Blockbuster eventually does the same.
