Hi Deacongreg,

I think their Ref 9SE V2 is worth a listen especially if you're willing to find the right cables to compliment its transparent and neutral character. Many reviewers have used these amps as their reference amps. Example is Mike Silverton w/ Stereotimes who replaced his Mark Levinson No. 33H monoblock towers ($25K) with these little critters driving his Wilson Watt Puppies to great effect: http://www.stereotimes.com/comm070207.shtml. I don't think anyone can accuse these Levinsons to be posers and not take them seriuosly. Still, what matters most is how a system sounds in your own room with your own set up in addition to one's own preference.
