I think it is important to know that pre/pro's fall hard in value, and the changin market/needs is the reason.

Personally, I wouldn't buy a pre/pro without HDMI I/O and all the advanced audio codecs now, period.

You are getting a great deal, but also buying something totally outdated. It might work for you now, but in a few months, it will not need your needs and you will be forced to sell it for less than what you bought it for.
