Yamaha makes good A/V components and you should be fine with their receivers.

You may want to do more research on your choice of speakers.

For many reasons Bose speakers are not held in high esteem on most informative a/v forums.

Check out speaker recomendations on our forum, avs forum, and audiogon. I'm sure you'll find many reasonably priced speakers that will make you very happy.

I don't want to put down those who have Bose speakers but they are generally known for low performance at a high price.
