Sadly, it's true. Those that equate "loud" to "good" simply don't have the ear required to appreciate the details in music that highlight the true talent of the artists.

Of course, as the talent fades, I suppose the recording engineers have to do something to keep people interested, otherwise.

Good recordings are so hard to come by these days... it is truly a shame.
