I don`t know about a scam, but their equipment has always been expensive. Dating back to their top of the line turntables, when I first got wind of them. But oddly, I hardly ever in the last few recent years, see any of their equipment get reviews, like all the other companies do.

Strange, and their prices continue to rise.
