Perhaps the thread should be closed to posting, since the topic statement is no longer true, OR rename it to something else, such as "HD Disc Format War Discussion and opinion" which would allow conversation to continue indefinitely. I also agree that the "A/V Content Alternate Distribution Discussion" (AKA downloads) could/should be created and seeded with the content applicable to it, as copied from this one, just to get things rolling.
