It's just dated. It was a 1080p set that accepted 1080p24 but turned it into 1080p60. It also has horrible video decoding.
The processing problem can easily be bypassed by buying an external processer which for a TV set of its capabilities is probably a good idea anyway. I've seen these sets with a nice external scaler/processor and they look amazing.
