Sad but true, one of the best career moves for any would-be musical legend is to die young. Jimi Hendrix, Robert Johnson, Janis Joplin, Tupac Shakur -- not only are they forever frozen in a snapshot when they were young, attractive and near the height of their creative powers, they also never had to reach the point where they’d gotten ugly, desperate and uninspired.
