"The Bourne Ultimatum” brings one of the most unique movie series in recent years to a whole new level. “The Bourne Identity” introduced us to a confused Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) looking for answers to his past. “The Bourne Supremacy” took us further into Project Treadstone and the masterminds behind the assassination training program. Now, in “The Bourne Ultimatum” Jason is more confused than ever, and the CIA is not making his life any easier.
The third film picks up about 10 minutes after where “Bourne Supremacy” ended. Injured in Moscow, Bourne manages to escape on a train and heads to Waterloo in England. It is there that he meets with Simon Ross (Paddy Considine), a security correspondent for a local newspaper. He has been writing a series of articles on the identity of Jason Bourne, using a source deep inside ...

Why is it nearly impossible to have sympathy for rich characters in
movies? Perhaps there’s something about the realistic physicality of
their clothing, their houses, the cars they drive and the middling
concerns that they have that are easy to ignore or be unaware of in a
book or a play, but become in-your-face obvious and hard to ignore on
film. When characters with such privileged upper class lives get to
continue their opulent charmed existences for eternity in even more
glorious surroundings can an audience honestly be expected to give a
damn?
Doctor Chris Nielsen (Robin Williams) meets painter Annie (Annabella
Sciorra) in Switzerland and they instantly click. Years later, married
with two teenage kids, Marie (Jessica Brooks Grant) and Ian (Josh
Paddock) the two find their lives shattered when Marie and Ian are both
killed in a car accident. Chris recovers from this devastating event,
but Annie remains somewhat unstable after a ...

“We Are Marshall” is an emotion-driven blockbuster that twists and
turns like a runaway rollercoaster. As you get hooked into the story,
propelled by the acting, the story, and the musical score, you’re going
to be dragged through pain and loss and uplifted to glorious victory
that is the stuff of enduring myths.
In 1971, Marshall University of West Virginia suffered a tragic loss of
75 townspeople in a plane crash. Thirty-seven of them were college
players; others were coaches, parents, supporters, and sports
announcers. With the town depleted of athletes, family, and friends,
the Marshall University football program had to start all over from
scratch, bend rules, and drive themselves harder than anyone had ever
been asked since the inception of the program.
David Strathairn plays university president Donald Dedmon, who was a
real person, but uninvolved in rebuilding of the program. As it turns
out, there are as many events changed to ...

"More Than Meets The Eye". Those immortal words have great meaning to
millions of Transformer fans around the world. So when it was announced
that Dreamworks and Michael Bay would be turning the famous 1980s
cartoon into a live action film, there was natural skepticism. Even
Michael Bay initially thought there was no way he was going to take on
the Transformers project. Actor Shia LaBeouf, who plays Sam Witwicky,
also thought that they were going to completely destroy the Transformer
legacy. I will let you be the judge on whether they succeeded or not.
Transformers follow the simplistic good versus evil structure. The
Autobots defend the Earth and universe against the Decepticons. The war
between them destroyed their home planet, and with the loss of the
Allspark, the Transformers followed it to Earth. The Allspark, also
known as the Cube, has the ability to instill life in technological
equipment. Without this Cube, ...
