"Little House On The Prairie" debuted on NBC in 1974 during the
television networks’ family television hour. During that time period,
television was supposed to be a kinder, gentler place. Michael Landon
came aboard only as an executive producer, but the star originally
slated to play Charles Ingalls failed to show up. Landon stepped into
the role with the easy, affable grace that he displayed in past roles
on "Bonanza" and in the "Highway to Heaven" series that would follow.

After three years of high school that included ruthless principals and
a mayor of Sunnydale that turned into a giant snake, Buffy Summers
(Sarah Michelle Gellar) heads into college not knowing what to expect.
As it happens, the brilliant writing team behind the Buffy scripts
seems cursed with the same pensive curiosity. What does a high school
graduate do after those days are over? And what if that graduate is the
Slayer, the Chosen One, the girl who was picked by fate to fight the
monsters the rest of the world seldom admits exists?
Many fans of the seven-year run of the fascinating series “Buffy The
Vampire Slayer” agree that Season Four ...

For most Americans, "Speed Racer," adapted from the Japanese television
series "Mach Go Go Go" by Trans-Lux's Peter Fernandez (who also
produced the U.S. release of "Astro Boy"), was their first exposure to
anime. If you ask your average Joe on the street about Japanese
animation, it would call up memories of speed lines, simplistic
animation featuring huge-eyed teens and American voice-actors trying
desperately to match the cartoon "lip flaps" with rapid-fire dialogue
that didn't always exactly make sense. This was, in fact, due to the
Japanese scripts being rewritten and rerecorded in a period of only
four days, a statistic that would shock most animation fans of the 21st
century.

By its third season, “Friends” was already well on its way to
establishing itself as one of the most successful sitcoms of all time,
anchoring NBC’s ratings bonanza known as “Must See TV Thursdays.” On a
weeknight that featured fellow ratings powerhouses “Seinfeld” and
“E.R.,” NBC was riding high as tens of millions tuned in to the
network. The 25 episodes that make up the third season of “Friends” are
a blast back to the year 1996 that will have fans of the show
reminiscing at one of the most turbulent yet hilarious eras in the
history of the show.

Whodunit? The word catches the imagination of armchair detectives
everywhere. The search for physical clues leading to the solutions of
crimes really caught public attention back in 1888 with the publication
of the first Sherlock Holmes story, “A Study in Scarlet.” Sir Arthur
Conan Doyle’s literary creation was the first to use observation and
little-known facts to solve cases. The writer patterned his detective
hero on a teacher he had while at university.
