What would rock and blues be like without Howlin’ Wolf? Nonexistent is probably the right answer. Almost every rock, jazz and blues musician from the 1960s onward has been influenced by Howlin’ Wolf. Being a musician myself, I know that his writing style is something we all try to emulate at one time or another. It’s a very natural and necessary part of the American music catalogue. This would be a great DVD to get for someone who wants to find out what the blues are all about. Howlin’ Wolf comes across as a totally likeable man whose passion and dedication to his art has been evident through out his ...

Therefore, if you enjoy the group’s two studio releases (“Parachutes” and “A Rush of Blood to the Head”), this Sidney, Australia concert video will give you the Coldplay you already know and love, albeit with extra added rabid applause.

It’s visually uninspired and sonically boring. While I know these are all professional musicians and they’ve all made a really nice career in Foreigner, I think it’s about time to give it up. I thought I was watching someone’s home movies. Isn’t this supposed to be a celebration of 25 years in rock music? And that is something to really celebrate, 25 years in any business is great achievement, but 25 years in rock is truly special. How many bands get to do that – and this is what they’ve come up with? To come clean with you, Foreigner was never a band that ...

This was the fist time Rush had ever toured Brazil and, over the course of three shows, they played in the biggest venues of their 25-plus-year career, to the largest group of rabid Rush fans ever seen. The final show was recorded for posterity (and for this DVD) and is now available as the incredible-sounding and -looking two-DVD set “Rush In Rio.”
