Viewers can pretty much count on Disney Studios for good music in their
movies, well-drawn and lively characters, and . . . sequels. Those
sequels aren’t always the wisest of choices because oftentimes Disney
hasn’t put as much effort into producing the second movie. “The Jungle
Book,” first animated back in 1967 and an instant classic, waited over
30 years for the sequel treatment.

In 2001, Disney Studios brought out one of the best children’s animated
movies of the year. Although not in the ballpark with Disney’s joint
efforts with PIXAR, “Atlantis: The Lost Empire” certainly enjoyed
audience favor in theaters and as a two-disc collector’s edition.
“Atlantis: Milo’s Return” offers a second helping of the stalwart
heroes who first journeyed into the hidden depths of the sea to find
the legendary lost civilization of Atlantis. In the first movie, Milo
Thatch, the intrepid cartographer recruited by Mr. Preston Whitmore,
deciphered the clues hidden in an old journal to lead the team of
specialists on their quest. As a result, Milo found Atlantis,
encountered base villains, saved the day, and found his ...

With animated films such as "My Neighbor Totoro," "Princess Mononoke"
and "Kiki's Delivery Service," director Miyazaki Hayao is often
referred to as "The Japanese Disney." However, such a comparison makes
it sound as if Miyazaki merely follows in the footsteps of his Western
counterpart. Nothing could be further from the truth, which is that the
director brings a charming blend of sweetness, otherworldly danger, and
character-driven drama that appeals to every generation that is almost
completely unique in animation today -- in any country.

Charles M. Schultz created “Peanuts” back October 2, 1950. Schultz
wrote and drew the strip officially retired in December of 1999, after
49 years of drawing and writing about the same characters. Today, since
the creator has passed away, it’s amazing to see that everyone still
know who Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Sally, Linus and the rest of the
gang are, but no one really remembers Schultz. The “Peanuts” crew has
become iconic to generations of kids and adults, speaking to them all
on differing levels and with emotional complexity.

Known for their top of the line graphics and award-winning movie
soundtracks in children's animated film features, Disney Studios splits
the score sheet with a near-hit and a near-miss with "Lilo And Stitch."
Traditional Disney audiences may have some objections to the actions of
the lead characters, but the film delivers the goods on action and
humor. Chris Sanders came up with the idea and co-wrote the script with
Dean DeBlois and also shared the directing credits.
