Paradigm electronics has updated one of their most popular subwoofers. The new Servo-15 v.2 Subwoofer plays louder and deeper than its predecessor, the original Servo-15. With three times the RMS power output of the Servo-15, the Servo-15 v.2 is able to produce 121 db without distortion and is accurate to 10 Hz according to Paradigm.

Velodyne Acoustics has introduced the Digital Power Slot (DPS) Series of subwoofers, a line of subwoofers using digital signal processing technology to control all functions of the subwoofer. The DPS series consists of the DPS-10, with a 10” forward firing driver (8.2” piston diameter) and 375 watts dynamic power, and the DPS-12, with a 12” forward firing driver (9.9” piston diameter) and 400 watts dynamic power. The DPS Series offers digital control of crossovers, equalization, dynamic compression, volume, phase, protection circuits and four selectable presets.
