There's a new flagship from REL – the R-528 Special Edition. This new subwoofer improves on the 528 thanks to a handful of upgrades and a smaller overall footprint. You'll find similar tech to what's in their higher end Gibraltar G-1 system.

The folks at SVS have introduced a pair of new subs that may not blow your mind with their feature set, but will certainly impress with their low price point. At $499 each, the SB-1000 and PB-1000 both sport solid specs for the cost.
The newest sub from SVS is the SB13-Ultra, and it's definitely deserving of the name. The 13.5 inch front firing driver is a monster and the sub itself comes in at 92 pounds, in part due to the 1000 watt – 3600 watts peak – Class D amplifier that's packed inside. But the SB-13 isn't just about making things loud, it's about making sure the bass it pumps out is appropriate for your room.

The latest from Wharfedale are the UPC-10 and UPC-8 – dual driver subwoofer that are highly adjustable through the included remote controller. You can make changes to phase adjustment, crossover slope, variable low-pass crossover and, of course, volume, without having to leave the spot where you'll be listening to them.
The latest in-wall subwoofer from Sunfire is a doozy. The HRSIW8 gives you not one but two eight-inch long throw drivers to pump that bass through your room. Stillbass technology is baked right in to make sure those speakers don't move your drywall.
