A new name in high quality audio has entered the US market. EarSonics, a leading French designer of high-end in ear headphones for sound engineers, musicians and audiophiles, is finally bringing its business overseas.
The new Vibrato from V-Moda is described as the ultimate multi-purpsose headphone. In addition to reproducing sound, it also contains a built-in microphone and three button control functionality that can control your phone or MP3 player.
"The goal for the Aperion Verus Grand line was to create an accurate, uncolored, lifelike experience," explains lead designer Ken Humphreys. "To do that, our team built the entire speaker system from the bottom up."
Some folks don't exactly get the whole headphone thing. They use $10 earbuds or – worse yet – the headphones that come free with their iPods. Others opt for a more expensive noise-cancelling headset that focuses on keeping outside noises out, rather than providing the best audio quality. The Edition 10 is not for them.
Yamaha's YHT-494 is the latest home theater-in-a-box from the company that's as well known for their home theater systems as their high-end gear. It's not optimal for your main theater of course, but as far as HTiB's go, the 494 may be a great pickup for a secondary viewing room or game room.
