Canton has introduced the Movie LE 125 home theater. The package consists of four identical two-way satellite speakers for front and surround L/R channels, a matching horizontal center-channel speaker, and a powerful 150-Watt Active subwoofer. All six speakers in the system feature a beech finish with a perforated silver face metal grill. Each component is designed and manufactured by Canton from the ground up, including drivers and crossovers, to deliver clear and dynamic sound reproduction for both multi-channel movies and music.

PSB Speakers launched their newest loudspeaker series with a total of seven new models. Four models, the T8 Tower, M2 Mini Monitor, C4 Center Channel and S2 Bipolar Surround were introduced in late 2002. The latest releases consist of the T6 Tower, C2 Center Channel and SubSonic10 subwoofer to complete the series. All of the speakers were designed from the ground up using design tools, such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA), laser vibrometry and computer optimization. More important is that both the drivers, crossovers and the final products were designed and developed by founder Paul Barton through objective measurements and critical listening tests at the world-renowned facilities of Canada's National Research Council.

Best Buy Stores L.P, a subsidiary of Best Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE: BBY) of Minneapolis and athena TECHNOLOGIES of Toronto have entered into an agreement to market the athena Audition and Point 5 speaker systems through Best Buy’s more than 500 retail stores in the United States. All athena TECHNOLOGIES products, including the SCT series will also be available through Best Buy’s online store, BestBuy.com.

RBH Sound Inc. introduces the Architectural Cinema Series (AC) lineup of freestanding loudspeakers. These new loudspeakers offer RBH build and sound quality at a consumer friendly price point. The AC Series is a sonically matched home theater loudspeaker system consisting of a pair of towers (AC-5T), center (AC-525), surrounds (AC-51) and a powered subwoofer (A-10S). All mid-bass drivers in the system use a polygraphite cone. The tweeters are 1 inch, high-quality fabric dome tweeters.
