Users will soon have one-touch access to Russound Touchpoint audio control system via iPod or iPhone. Any home network can be linked to the Touchpoint interface, and is then bookmarked on the iPod or iPhone as an IP address.
The features on the Sonos iPhone app have been updated to include more functionality for customers who own a Sonos multi-room music system. The update includes increased language support (now available in seven languages), the ability to create alarms using the Wake to music with Sonos feature and create night-time playback with the Fall asleep to music with Sonos feature, computer-free setup and the ability to play legally owned DRM files.
The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)’s latest report, entitled “Trends in Multi-room Audio Video Usage”, shows that people are extremely satisfied with their multiroom AV systems. 82% of those currently owning a system would recommend it to someone they know, and 85% of those same people would choose to install a new system if they moved into a new home.

Customers who have a Creston home solution can now access all of their controls via a free app download in the iTunes store. Any iPhone or iPod Touch will be able to act as a remote for home automation controls with this download.
