Marantz has announced it is releasing its new AV8003 preamplifier and MM8003 powr amplifier products in the US.  The preamplifier boasts a multizone processor for what has become a standard set of 7.1 channels to three different zones.  It will also include 1080p video upscaling and support for HDMI 1.3, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master and Deep Color technologies. For those interested in radio, the preamplifier includes support for HD, XM, and Sirius radio technologies.
