Pass Laboratories has unveiled the XP-15 Phono Preamp, its newest phono amplifier for a smooth yet firm vinyl experience. This preamp is an upgraded version of the innovative company’s Xono Phonostage, and it improves upon its predecessor by offering greater resolution, lower noise levels, and superior bass control all packed into a solid, single chassis.
Anthem, maker of electronic components and the brother company to speaker manufacturer Paradigm, have debuted the second generation version of their AVM 50 flagship processor. The Master 50, or AVM 50v, now includes additional HDMI inputs for all your digital components, as well as the ARC-1, Anthem Room Correction system.
Parasound has introduced an audio preamplifier designed for sound purists seeking superior low-noise performance from classic stereo sources as well as multichannel music and movies from Blu-ray, DVD-Audio, and SACD players. It will be marketed in the company's high-end Halo product line.
Goldmund has announced the creation of a new processor, the Goldmund U-32, which is capable of extending to an infinite number of discrete channels. No word on the exact cost of the U-32, but considering the high-end track record of Goldmund (ie: the $300,000 turntable and $17,000 Blu-ray player), we're guessing more than a pretty penny.
