Linn’s new CHAKRA Power Amplifier Range is a series of high performance power amplifiers built around Linn’s latest CHAKRA power amplifier topology. Comprising a total of eight individual models, suited for a variety of applications from stereo to multi-channel and from passive to AKTIV, the CHAKRA range is designed to offer consistent performance, controlled ‘silent power’ and pure sound in virtually any performance entertainment system.

The latest power amplifier from Rotel boasts space-saving efficiency and innovative design. The new RMB-1077 power amp is a slim, rack-mount component just over 2-inches tall, that delivers no less than 700 watts – seven fully independent channels of 100W each. This combination lends the new Rotel appeal for high-performance, seven-channel power in custom-installation home theaters, or wherever efficient, compact, multi-channel power is required.

Three new power amplifiers designed for high-performance custom AV installations, individually or in combination, have been introduced by Rotel. The 2x50-watt RKB-250, the 6x50W RKB-650, and the 2-x-100W RKB-2100—all 20Hz-20kHz, 0.05% THD—deliver expandable, configurable power for custom-installed home theater and whole-house systems. In addition, Rotel will introduce a fan-cooling kit, the RKF-100, designed to serve the new, rack-mountable amplifiers in tight locations or cabinets with restricted ventilation.

Halcro has released four new amplifiers to bolster their Logic Series of home theater products. Featuring LYRUS amplification technology, a new circuit design, which exhibits a low noise floor and low distortion, the Halcro Logic Series is available in seven, five, three and two-channel models.

Krell has introduced the Evolution Series of high-end stereo components, which culminates more than two decades of audio design. According to Krell, the result is a synthesis of beauty, grace, and the power synonymous with the Krell name.
