The RCD-1520 CD Player uses a sizable toroidal transformer to reduce hum and power supply "sag". The Wolfson DAC offers digital filtration and D/A conversion with this slot loading unit. It retails for $999.
Goldmund, the Swiss audio company, has announced that a three year project is finally about to see the light. The Telos 5000 amplifier will be shipping soon, at the hefty price of $189,000 each. Only 25 units will be made, most of which have already been pre-sold.
