Chord Electronics has unveiled its Cyan line of products, as well as a few other additions to its offerings. These include the Cyan Click, a 130-Watt integrated amp that uses wireless Bluetooth technology, an upgraded Red Reference CD player and the CPM 2800 digital amplifier.
Four amplifiers from Krell have been recalled due to potential overheating problems. The KAV-1500, KAV-500i, KAV-250a/3, and KAV-250a models have been called in for a recall so that Krell can replace faulty fuses that might cause the units to overheat.

A new integrated amplifier from source components manufacturer Bel Canto has just been unveiled: the S300iUSB. Designed for use with computer-based music collections, the S300iUSB connects to a user’s PC via USB and uses a 24/96 upsampling DAC board to run 300 Watts per channel.
The Evolution 5350 amplifier was announced by Creek at the Munich High End Show this past week. It will sell for $1,600, and features 2 x 200 Watts of power, a compact, high-frequency switching power supply and a bipolar modular power amp. It includes five inputs and the ability to connect to an A/V receiver using the bypass setting.
