Available later this month from authorized NAD dealers, the C 245BEE is a four channel power amp that promises some pretty strong performance.  NAD’s new power amp is rated at 35 watts per channel into 4 or 8 ohms for 20Hz to 20kHz with 0.03 percent Total Harmonic Distortion.  The C 245BEE is also able to handle 55w, 85w, and 100w dynamic power into 2, 4, or 8 ohms and 2x90w into 8 ohms in bridge mode.

A pair of S-Series power amps, the S-275 and S-150M, has been introduced by Krell.  These amps were designed with one goal in mind: to bring high end performance to users in a very small package.  Krell’s S-275 is, not surprisingly, a 275 watt stereo amplifier.  Via a switch on the back, the S-275 is able to be placed into mono mode where it boasts a 550 watt output.  With a half sized footprint, the S-275 is able to be placed side by side with another amplifier.

Rotel has a reputation for high quality products by consumers and installers alike, and offer a high amount of quality at generally affordable prices.  After requests from their dealers though, they set out with a new goal in mind for the RMB-1512.  Lighter and cooler than past models by far, according to Rotel, the 1512 can put out no less than 100 watts at 9 ohms across 12 channels.  At a 4 ohm load, that number doubles.

Chord Electronics has unveiled its Cyan line of products, as well as a few other additions to its offerings.  These include the Cyan Click, a 130-Watt integrated amp that uses wireless Bluetooth technology, an upgraded Red Reference CD player and the CPM 2800 digital amplifier. 

Four amplifiers from Krell have been recalled due to potential overheating problems.  The KAV-1500, KAV-500i, KAV-250a/3, and KAV-250a models have been called in for a recall so that Krell can replace faulty fuses that might cause the units to overheat.
