Panasonic Nabs the 3D Avatar Exclusive
If you want to be one of the first people with access to the movie that spurred on the 3D revolution, you're going to have to stick with Panasonic.  Starting this December, 'Avatar' will be available on Blu-ray 3D, but only to those who buy a Panasonic Viera plasma TV.  It's the biggest movie of all time, but you'll only be able to get it as a pack-in until the exclusivity deal is up.

Panasonic Introduces the GT25 Plasma Line

3D Avatar Blu-rays Could be Panasonic Exclusive This Year

Samsung's 3D Plasmas – Available Now
There's finally a bit of selection in the 3D plasma market.  No longer are you forced to choose between a Panasonic plasma and a Best Buy exclusive Panasonic plasma. The two lines of Samsung plasmas are fairly similar.  They both offer a 1080p resolution and 3D capability.  They've both got Samsung Apps like Internet@TV, and they both measure a slim 1.4 inches deep.
