LG Now Taking Preorders for OLED in the UK, Ships in US This Month
2013 is the year that we finally get OLED TVs in decent sizes at not terribly ridiculous prices. LG is going to be shipping this set to US retailers later on this month, and pricing is set at $12,000 even.

Spielberg wants to make sure everyone can share in that and learn firsthand from people who were there, and so has founded the IWitness project.

Telefonica Shows off Streaming 4K Video via 100Mbps Fiber
There’s no question that we want 4K content, but there’s quite a bit of debate about just how we’re going to get it.  Some opt for the disc-based methods that have served us thusfar while others prefer to go with streaming. Streaming seems the most consumer friendly method since there’s no need to upgrade your whole collection, but internet connection speeds have to be up to the task.
