DTS recently announced that several new titles have been added to thier release calendar of DVD titles encoded with DTS 5.1 Digital Surround soundtracks. Among these new releases are the first DTS-encoded DVD releases from Columbia/Tri-Star Home Video and Warner Home Video.
The first DTS-encoded DVDs from Warner Home Video will be Lethal Weapon 1, 2, and 3, Twister, as well as Tom Cruise’s Interview with the Vampire all available in June. These new titles are all special editions with high-quality video transfers and exciting new video extras such interactive menus, additional scenes, and behind the scenes footage. The first release from Columbia/Tri-Star Home Video to offer a DTS-encoded soundtrack, will be the box office blockbuster 2 DVD release of Men In Black, with a street date of September 5, 2000.
