Two of the most successful and influential hard rock acts of the 90’s Rage Against The Machine and Soundgarden may have officially disbanded but that doesn’t mean the show is over. In an official statement from Rage's management, Q Prime, spokesperson Gayle Fine confirmed the rumors that Chris Cornell, lead singer of Soundgarden, will front a new band consisting of three fourths of the now defunct Rage Against the Machine.
The name of this newly formed band has not been announced, but their debut album will be produced by Rick Rubin (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beastie Boys, Wesley Willis). Cornell's management company Rebel Waltz will co-manage the group along with Q Prime.
