Reggae legend, Bob Marley has just received his first ever Grammy nomination by the National Recording Academy of Arts and Science (NARAS.) for being the subject of the documentary Rebel Music: The Bob Marley Story in the category of "Best Long Form Music Video". Incredibly, this is the first time a Bob Marley project has ever been nominated for a Grammy. Bob Marley, musician, poet and prophet, was the first Jamaican artist and the first 3rd world superstar to achieve international stardom and introduced Reggae music to the world. Some of the biggest stars in music will be performing this weekend to benefit terror victims and to boost the morale of the United States. Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Tim McGraw, 'N Sync and the Backstreet Boys plan to perform at three benefit concerts to raise money for the victims of the September Eleventh terrorist attacks. The weekend concerts begin Saturday October 20th with the "Concert for New York City'' at Madison Square Garden. Along with the Backstreet Boys and Destiny's Child, that event features Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Billy Joel, U2's Bono, Marc Anthony just to name a few.
