The folks at Panasonic will be adding new voice control tech to their 2013 TV lineup. Though the company has given customers options like this before, this is the first time Panasonic will be using the specific Dragon TV tech from Nuance.

The folks at Phiilips have created something truly unique.  It's a TV that defies traditional style and form. Their new DesignLine set is designed to look like a sheet of glass fading from translucent to opaque that leans against a wall.  Hidden in that is a television with smart features, Wi-Fi and more.

The folks at Sharp announced their AQUOS 6 TV line back in January and they're now shipping the 650 series, which includes a 50, 60 and 70 inch set, all of which are shipping this month. They boast dual core processors, built-in Wi-Fi and a Smart TV platform that allows you to take advantage of everything that comes with the latest generation of TVs. You'll also be presented with Sharp Beam, which allows you to stream content directly from your Android or iOS device.

2013 is the year that we finally get OLED TVs in decent sizes at not terribly ridiculous prices. The 9,999 pounds or approximately $13,000 that LG wants for its 55 inch set will set you back bit, but it's a big step from the $2,500 11-inch OLED that Sony first put on the market.  Deliveries in the UK will start in July. LG is going to be shipping this set to US retailers later on this month, and pricing is set at $12,000 even.

It doesn't take a visionary to say that in the very near future, we'll be able to watch the same video on any screen in our home.  We're close as it is, but we're not quite there. LG's latest reveal gives us a look at what this might look like in a 4K home.
