Panasonic Announces a New Full HD 3D Projector
The PT-AE7000U is a surprising first for Panasonic.  Though the company has been on the forefront of 3D since it first started coming back into theaters - they were instrumental to the creation of 'Avatar' as you may know - this is the first Full HD 3D projector they've released. Of course, the PT-AE7000U is an impressive component.  It offers a contrast ratio of 300,00:1 and 2,000 lumens brightness.  It also boasts a new 200-watt Red-Rich lamp that Panasonic says will insure greater red luminance and a brighter picture overall.

Sanyo Intros a 2K Projector
The latest projector from Sanyo, the PLC-HF10000L, boasts Real 2K resolution with absolutely no image compression.  That means instead of getting the 1920 x 1080 that makes up 1080p video, you'll be seeing your movies in 2048 x 1080.
