With the rise of internet video, streaming services and a glut of new technology, there's no question that TV is in for a big change. In ten or twenty years, televisions may be completely different than what it is today, and Sony wants to be leading that charge. CEO Howard Stringer says that Sony is at the forefront of the next generation of television and is hoping to beat Apple to the punch. Part of that is the four-screens concept, which will bring together smartphones, tablets, television sets and PCs onto one content platform.
