B&W Loudspeakers has announced a new architectural model, the CCM 817, which is engineered to provide a solution for diverse custom-install challenges.

B&W Loudspeakers has introduced a new built-in model, the CWM LCR8. The CWM LCR8 utilizes five drive units and employs key technologies from B&W’s Nautilus range of free-standing speakers.

Energy has announced the new EAS Architectural series of in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers. The EAS series has been designed with the custom installer and end user in mind, featuring easy to use connections and bezel design, making these speakers incredibly simple for one person to install. A key example of the ease of installation is the EAS-6W in-wall speaker, offering a detachable bezel, which allows the installer of any skill level the option of "roughing-in" the speaker before completing his installation. As a result, any painting to the baffle and grill can be done on sight, for that completely customized look, without fear of damaging the speaker. This technology has been carried over from the incredibly successful Veritas Custom series. The comprehensive line includes one in-wall product, two in-ceiling 2-way speakers and one in-ceiling stereo speaker.

Triad Speakers has introduced the InCeiling Gold/8 MiniMonitor, for both stereo or home theater use, and was designed for both existing and new construction applications. It features a small footprint and an angled baffle that directs the sound through a flush Acoustimesh grill.

Snell Acoustics will introduce three new loudspeaker models upgraded to include THX Ultra 2 Certification, extending their THX offerings to a total of seven models.
