Wireless keyboard interference. Chances are, you’ve never run into the problem, but with Adesso’s new keyboard, you never will. It’s a well put together wireless keyboard that’s perfect for HTPCs, and it uses a wireless ID system, to avoid that whole interference issue altogether.
Let’s face it, no matter how good Blu-ray discs look, there’s something about not having to leave the couch that just draws you to the Netflix streaming service. It’s cheap, it’s quick and it’s easy. The only real problem with the service is that the video and audio quality just isn’t up to snuff.
We don’t normally talk much about tablet PCs at AVRev. They’re a burgeoning market that still has a lot to prove, but Apple’s iPad is too big to ignore. The iPhone has been a huge influence on the consumer electronics industry. It’s gotten to the point where it’s almost expected that new products have some sort of link to the new device, and the iPad may have the same influence.
The Ultio Pro media player from Mvix is an impressive playback solution. It can handle just about any video file you can think of, a substantial range of audio files, and even sports a torrent service. But the Ultio Pro isn’t for everyone, in that it doesn’t have access to some of the basic internet services that other players have. You can still get videos from Netflix and Hulu, but you’ll have to go through Tversity or PlayOn to get there.
