Netflix HD Streaming Finally Coming to PC
It’s amazing the information that comes from Twitter these days, rather than official blogs or old-school press releases.  The official Netflix customer service Twitter account “Netflixhelps” responded to a question about HD content on PC by saying “HD is limited by content licensing and tech issues that we're working on. We expect to enable HD streaming on the PC this year.”

Cyberlink Brings 3D to Non-Nvidia HTPCs
If you use an Nvidia Geforce card in your home theater PC, then 3DTV Play may be the perfect solution.  It’s only $50, it’s compatible with most newer GeForce cards and it handles both 3D Blu-ray discs and 3D gaming.  On the downside, it’s only compatible with Nvidia cards.

Media servers are great to have in the home.  You can watch your content from any set in the house and it’s all digital.  There’s no messing about with optical media because it’s all stored centrally.  It’s great when you’re home, but when you’re out and about, you’re without your movies and music.  That’s where the cloud comes into play.
