Tranquil PC Launches The ixL Fanless Media Center PC
The latest release from Tranquil really lives up to the company's name.  The ixL doesn't use fans for cooling, which means that not only is it more reliable, it's almost completely silent to boot.  It's also gorgeous.  The aluminum and steel case, subdued front panel and option for a laser-etched personalization make the Tranquil PC ixL a great addition to the home theater.

Boxee Teams up with Sonic Solutions to bring HD Video and 5.1 Channel Audio
One of the biggest gripes with video streaming is that it just doesn't live up to the quality of Blu-ray.  In most cases it doesn't even live up to the quality of an upscaled DVD.  That might not be a problem when you're watching Hulu on a 19 inch computer monitor, but take that same video to your 65 inch LCD and it just doesn't work.

It's always a shame to see products pushed back, and the Boxee Box in particular.  The late release means we won't be able to get our mitts on it for another few months, and for the company it means potential lost profit.

Hulu Could be Hitting the Xbox 360 This Fall
When it comes to Netflix, nothing does it better than the Xbox 360.  It's got a slick interface and quick response that makes searching through your instant queue a delight.  The addition of Netflix to Microsoft's console has made the device into the main source of entertainment for a lot of people.

The Next Apple TV Could Be $99 – Sport iPhone 4 Hardware
The rumors are flying about Apple's next foray into the television world.  And from the sound of things, it's pretty impressive – assuming you're okay living off of iTunes. The rumor is the next Apple TV will be based off of the same hardware as the iPhone 4.  It will have the same A4 CPU and 16GB of flash storage.
