Atlona is Shipping the LinkCast Wireless HD Audio/Video System Now
The latest from Atlona is a device called the LinkCast Wireless HD Audio/Video System, but we're going to go ahead and call it LinkCast for short.  What LinkCast does is give you the ability to stream up to five HD sources to a single TV or monitor.  Not only does it handle 1080p video, but 3D video and up to eight sound channels.

Deceptive Marketing Labels HDMI Cable as Having Anti-Virus Protection
We’re not willing to call off the search yet, but we may have found the single dumbest feature ever to be listed on the back on an HDMI cable box – anti-virus protection.  That’s right, according to the back of the box for an HDMI cable marketed towards Xbox 360 owners, it has “anti-virus protection to reduce virus noises.”  Yeah.  Not only is it absolutely ridiculous to think that viruses are travelling through your HDMI cables, but game consoles don’t get viruses.  It’s a double whammy of dumb.

Korean Government Selects LG to Develop Flexible OLED by 2017
The Korean Ministry of Knowledge Economy announced today that they've selected LG to lead the way in creating a flexible OLED screen for manufacture by 2017.  Initially the screen will be used for commercial purposes, but there's no telling what kind of applications we'll see for consumers.  A fully OLED wrapped cell phone?  Projector style OLED displays that roll up when not in use?  There are a lot of possibilities here.

Want to see The Dark Knight Rises in Full 70mm IMAX?Here's Where.
If you really want to see 'The Dark Knight Rises' the way it was intended to be seen – and we're guessing that many of you do – you can't just go to any movie theater.  Nearly one hour of the film was shot in IMAX 15-perf 70mm film, which means an IMAX theater is the place to be.  And not one of those phony IMAX theaters that have been cropping up in multiplexes – you need the full 70mm experience with the exceedingly large screen.  Here's where you can see it:
