Support Page Leak Reveals Redbox Instant Subscription Details and Price
Redbox Instant has been one of the big question marks in world of streaming video and some details have finally been revealed.  The folks at GigaOm dug around in Redbox and came upon a support page for the service that shows a $6/mo price for unlimited streaming with an option to rent four DVDs a month for $2 more.  There's no word yet on what the plan is regarding Blu-ray rentals.

Redbox Expands Live Event Ticket Kiosks
It's long been speculated that Redbox would add movie tickets to its kiosks, but that's not what's happening here.  Instead, Redbox is offering tickets to live events. Initially this idea was tested in Philidelphia, but now it's being rolled out to Los Angeles area Redbox kiosks.

Dolby Announces Atmos Theaters for 'Life of Pi' and 'The Guardians'
Atmos is one of the biggest things to hit theaters since 3D and unlike 3D which requires glasses and induces headaches, Atmos requires only that you go to an equipped theater to enjoy your film.  It takes the traditional surround sound that we've gotten used to and makes it even more specific, allowing for pinpoint sound and a more immersive experience.  If you want to get your Atmos fix, you can check out 'Life of Pi' or 'The Guardians,' both of which are out now.  The list of theaters is below.

Vudu HD Streaming Finally Comes to Computers
Vudu and Netflix are two distinctly different services with distinctly different focuses.  Netflix offers quantity while Vudu focuses on quality, Netflix is more about disposable content while Vudu wants you to buy.  They’re also very different in that while Netflix started on the PC and eventually moved to the living room, Vudu has, since the beginning, been made for TVs.  Thankfully, that’s changing.

Media Decor Packs a Soundbar Into a TV Mount
Soundbars are a nice alternative to traditional speakers for rooms that just accommodate the usual setup, or where you prefer to have a nice clean look.  They're not completely hidden though.  Whether you wall-mount then or lay them on a stand, the speaker is going to be obvious.  The new Edge TV mount from Media Decor solves that nicely by including a soundbar right in the mount.
