They say it is too early to throw away your socks and don a pale blue Versace linen suit but what the hell do "they" know? Daily Variety reported last Thursday that Michael Mann has agreed to bring back the trend setting crime story, Miami Vice for the silver screen. Reports say that Philip Michael Thomas and Don Johnson will not be getting the call however you never know who will appear in a cameo.

Lisa ``Left Eye'' Lopes, the thirty year old singer from the Grammy-winning trio TLC was killed in a car crash in Honduras on April 24, 2002. There is no word yet if Lopes, who often vacationed in Honduras and frequently assisted at a child development center there, was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Arista records President, L.A. Reid, offered his condolences to the family, friends and fans of the young star who would have turned thirty one in May.

Linda Boreman AKA: Linda Lovelace, star of the 1970 Porn cult favorite Deep Throat died yesterday at 53 as a result of injuries suffered in a car accident on April 3, 2002 in Denver, Colorado. Hollywood lore and Boreman’s book "Ordeal" say that she was forced into pornography at gun point and was unpaid for her work. Deep Throat went on to become a record setting film for the adult film industry. By 1980, she was an anti-pornography advocate and ultimately became a mother.
