Billed as the first feature film created for the Internet "Quantum Project," starring John Cleese of Monty Python fame, Fay Masterson and Stephen Dorff was just released on the website www.SightSound.com. For $3.95 people can download or stream the film for one year allowing multiple viewings. SightSound.com has inked a deal with Miramax to release 12 films via the Internet and if this proves to be successful, don’t be surprised if major studios follow suit and begin offering their films online as well.
