For 20th Anniversary of ‘Schindler’s List’ Spielberg Founds Online Holocaust Learning Center
‘Schinder’s List’ may be one of the most powerful movies of all time, and one that personalized the Holocaust in a way that no film had done before.  It wasn’t just skilled directing and acting that made this movie as good as it was though – Spielberg met with Holocaust survivors and listened to their stories, incorporating all of that into the film. A new 'Star Wars' trilogy is on the way and J.J. Abrams is at the helm – at least for the first movie. He initially expressed that he didn't want to direct the film, but it seems he's come around.  Abrams will be responsible for setting the tone of the trilogy and making some significant decisions like casting. Whether he continues on to the second and third is yet to be seen, but his influence will certainly be felt.
