The long anticipated Xbox Live hit the market today causing video game enthusiasts to flock to local retailers. Xbox Live is a video game console that connects to the internet allowing players to talk and play against each other as well as download the newest updates and games off of the internet as soon as they are available.

It makes you wonder if the lawyers and executives at HBO remember Lars Ulrich, drummer from Metallica, publicly sticking his foot in his mouth with his babbling about how Napster was hurting the band’s ability to earn a living. But today CBS and CNN are reporting that HBO lawyers are sending letters to eating and drinking establishments that play Sunday episodes of the mafia drama to its patrons.

Amidst rumors of a potential Sopranos feature film, The New York Times reported Sunday that David Chase agreed to undisclosed terms with HBO to do a fifth season of the highly acclaimed Mafia drama. Many in the cast of The Sopranos publicaly said that they would not continue without Chase at the helm.

Universal Home Video downplayed the timing of the release of the classic TV series Baretta featuring Robert Blake as part of a much bigger DVD release including TV series such as Law and Order, The Rockford files, Magnum P.I and Quantum Leap. Robert Blake is currently being held on charges relating to allegedly murdering his wife, Bonny Lee Bakely on May 4, 2001. The Blake case is the first high profile murder investigation in Hollywood since the O.J. Simpson spectacular. The Blake case has yet to go to trial
