Boston Acoustics have announced the VS 344 floorstanding loudspeaker, the latest addition to their hugely popular VS series.  Priced at $1,250, this speaker features a quadruple 4-1/2-inch Organic Composite Cone Material (OCCM) bass driver design, combined with a 4-1/2-inch OCCM midrange driver and a 1-inch SuperWide Bandwidth tweeter. Like all VS Series speakers, the VS 344’s piano lacquer finish and high-gloss furniture-grade end panels cover the cabinet.

Three new speakers have been added to the Platinum Line of audio products from Monitor Audio.  The PL200 floorstanding speaker (SRP: $800/pair), the PLC150 center speaker (SRP: $3,500), and the PLW-15 subwoofer (SRP: $4,800) will join this flagship line.  The PL200 is a compact floorstanding speaker that is designed to be a smaller alternative to the popular PL300, taking up 1/3 of the space but offering much the same sound. 

Wilson Audio is perhaps best known for its iconic Watt/Puppy speaker system.  They just announced details on the Sasha W/P floodstanding loudspeakers. The Sasha W/P rethinks the classic core of the Watt/Puppy line, and incorporates some of the audio features from the more expensive Wilson Alexandria X-2 Series 2 and Maxx 3.

EPOS has unveiled the Encore 50 floorstanding speaker at the Munich Show.  They will sell for about $8000 per pair, and represent three years of engineering come to life.  It includes separate enclosures for treble, midrange and bass, and a sealed housing at the base for the crossover.

Four models of the latest line of floorstanding loudspeakers from Cabasse, the Altura MC series, have just been announced. They include the Iroise 3 (SRP: $3,450) and the Egea 3 (SRP: $3,050), as well as two unnamed loudspeakers.  All of the speakers will feature the BC13 co-axial midrange tweeter and point-source driver technology from Cabasse.
