ABOVE ALL ELSE: THE EVEREST DREAM (Unapix) is a documentary about the 10-year quest of mountaineers Jamie Clarke and Alan Hobson to climb Mount Everest. Three sound formats: Dolby Digital Surround, Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS Digital Surround. ANNIE HALL (MGM), director Woody Allen’s 1977 multi-Oscar winner, is an offbeat romance that pairs up Allen and Diane Keaton. Look for Christopher Walken in a cameo as Annie’s disturbed brother. Sold separately or as part of a boxed set that also includes Allen’s other works of the 1970s through 1980, including BANANAS, EVERYTHING YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT SEX (BUT WERE AFRAID TO ASK), INTERIORS, LOVE AND DEATH, MANHATTAN and STARDUST MEMORIES. THE BIG TEASE (Warner Home Video), co-written by star Craig Ferguson, is a surprisingly sweet-natured 2000 comedy about a Scottish hairdresser who comes to L.A. to enter a hairstyling contest. BAD BOYS (Columbia TriStar), is a 1995 cop buddy comedy that stars Will Smith, Martin Lawrence and Tea Leoni. Directed by Michael Bay (who later helmed 'The Rock' and 'Armageddon'), 'Bad Boys' features plenty of pyrotechnics with the laughs. The DVD comes with an audio commentary track from Bay, two different "making ofs" on the film's explosions, weapons and effects, three music videos, a music-only soundtrack option, biographies and production notes. BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE (Trimark), released earlier this year, is writer/director Jasmin Dizdar's dark comedy about Bosnian refugees living, loving, working and fighting in London.
