Microtek
has announced that it is shipping its CX6 XGA DLP™ Projector in the
United States. The 2,000 lumens brightness projector provides crisp,
clear imaging for presentations, even in less-than-optimal lighting
conditions. The CX6’s high 2000:1 contrast ratio ensures that both
computer and video are rendered in exceptional detail, color and
clarity.
Connections on the CX6 are clearly marked,
adhering to the industry's "plug and project" standard for easy set-up.
Inputs for video or graphics include DVI for direct digital connection,
a DVI to VGA adapter for auto-sensing analog PC connection, component
video, S-video and composite video inputs. Add to these automatic
de-interlacing and built-in 2:3 film detection, the CX6 produces
smooth, clean video. A video monitor loop-through output is provided
for multiple display applications. The projector's built-in audio is
supported via composite RCA and a stereo mini jack. An RS-232 jack is
provided for service and factory firmware updates.
